To the Sunrise House Staff

Thank you so much for all that you taught me about myself and the disease of addiction. I learned so much about myself during my stay at Sunrise and I am a better person because of all of you. Showing me that life in recovery can be good. Your examples will be with me always.

I have begun my new journey and it feels great to be back home. Close to my family and the people I love. Every day is not easy and life is not always a bed of roses, but I continue to look for the goodness each day brings without the use of drugs and alcohol. I am grateful that I am a recovering alcoholic and drug addict today and I know that all the suffering will be worth something someday. I feel that my life has meaning and significance today. “Why” God chose to be gracious and merciful to a wretch like me, I may never know, but that’s OK because I don’t have to know all the answers today. I do know that no addict need ever die from the horrors of addiction. Thank you so much each and every one of you for helping me to save my own life. I love you all, and I coming back for my “marbie”

                                                                                Love gratefully
