Sunrise House Foundation, as part of its mission, offers an intensive inpatient rehabilitation treatment program for adults, with specific gender based tracks. The program begins with a comprehensive assessment of medical and health, psychological, quality of life, addiction, family, social and work environment, and spiritual dimensions. An interdisciplinary team of addiction professionals, health professionals and behavioral health professionals in partnership with the patient develop treatment plans, continuing care plans and discharge/treatment transition plans. Treatment consists of group and individual counseling, trauma and gender-specific counseling, relapse prevention, life story, peer evaluations, daily educational and motivational lectures, workshops, recreational and family education, and psychodrama. The program is rooted in the 12 Step philosophy. These modalities are tailored to fit the needs of the individual.

Inpatient treatment is complemented by individualized referral to appropriate continuing care providers.
